Civil Society Counters Disinformation at "Make a Bigger Impact: Effective Writing for Advocacy!"

In collaboration with MADANI

Atma Connect Chief Executive Officer Meena Palaniappan and USAID Indonesia Mission Director Jeffrey Cohen opened an interactive talk show, entitled `Make a Bigger Impact: Effective Writing for Advocacy!’, that promotes the role of communications as an advocacy tool in an era of increasing disinformation and distrust.

Impact Bridge Platform Socialized with Brebes Companies and CSOs

Atma team met with Yayasan Eska Unggul Indonesia and companies that have been running Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programs in Brebes to introduce a platform to connect companies with impact makers, the Impact Bridge, to help visualize and monitor progress of their CSR Programs.

Enabling Scaling and Replication of Public Health Complaint Reporting System

Atma Connect developed a manual to enable more Public Health Centers to set up the Community Complaints and Aspiration Services for Public Healthcare Centers (LAMPU), after a succcesful pilot project in Brebes, Central Java. This manual will help other areas to adopt the system for their respective community health centers

"Role of AtmaGo for Local Good Governance" Webinar

In collaboration with MADANI

AtmaGo's users in Yogyakarta, and Mojokerto in East Java shared their experiences on using AtmaGo to support local governance. 100% participants would spread the stories shared, and 88% would like to introduce AtmaGo to and collaborate with their respective local governments to improve governance.

Farmers Helping Farmers

While Atma Connect originally launched as a mobile app for people to share information and build resilience in disaster-prone areas, the impact is far greater now. Atma and its Indonesian counterpart, Sakawarga, are enabling many more people to collaborate, including coffee farmers coping with climate change.

Countering Misinformation Focus Group Discussions

In collaboration with IREX and University of Notre Dame

Atma supported IREX and University of Notre Dame to improve their countering misinformation educational platform called literata.id. Atma conducted focus group discussions among Atma’s community throughout Indonesia, in Jakarta and Greater Jakarta areas, Yogyakarta, Lamongan, Denpasar and Lombok, and involved 105 participants.
