UNKARTUR 2024 Open House Enlivened by Expo and Competitions

Celebrating the 7th Anniversary of Karangturi National University (UNKARTUR) Semarang held an Open House activity. The Open House activity which was carried out in the framework of UNKARTUR"s Anniversary was held at the UNKARTUR Campus, Jalan Raden Patah Rejomulyo, Semarang, Central Java, Saturday (29/06/2024).
UNKSRTUR Chancellor Dra. Lusiawati Dewi, M.Sc said that the Open House was not only to celebrate UNKARTUR"s anniversary but also to introduce to the wider community the potential of Karangturi National University.
UNKARTUR now has 7 study programs (Prodi) under four departments, namely; Information Systems, Food Technology, English Education and Health Information Management.
"Each study program holds competitions and also holds product expos made by lecturers and students. "The expo was enlivened by MSME, corporate and culinary stands," explained Lusiawati.
The Chancellor, who is also known as a tempeh breeder, added that as one of the highlights of the Food Technology department, innovations in food processing using tempeh as the basic ingredient were displayed.
"There is also UNKARTUR food technology products in the form of ice cream with natural coloring. "The pink ice cream comes from dragon fruit and the green comes from Moringa leaves," explained Lusiawati.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Committee for Open House 2024 activities said that Juventius Wahyu Utama, various competitions held as a series to celebrate the 7th Anniversary of UNKARTUR, were aimed at exploring the potential of young people in the city of Semarang. This competition activity is intended to form a framework for thinking in argumentation (mental health debate competition), the field of health information education through poster work, the e-sports field through the Mobile Legend competition, and the Dance Competition to raise potential in the arts and entertainment fields.
“UNKARTUR always wants to participate in developing the potential of young people both among students and the wider community. "This is to always produce positive work that can encourage
community progress," he added.Juven menambahkan selain lomba-lomba juga digelar Aerobic dengan Beauty Class, juga expo yang melibatkan perusahaan, UMKM dan stand kuliner.
Pemenang Lomba Dies Natalis UNKARTUR 2024
Untuk lomba Poster juara pertama disabet Arima Bintang Casanova dari SMAN 10 Semarang. Disusul tempat kedua direbut Andina Aurellitha Ramadhani dari SMAN 2 Semarang.Untuk juara ketiga diraih Danda Naff Prasetya dari SMAN 10 Semarang. Sedangkan juara favorit juga diraih dibukukan Danda Naff Prasetya dari SMAN 10 Semarang.
Tampil sebagai pemenang lomba debat Dies Natalis UNKARTUR 2024. Untuk juara pertama dari SMA Karangturi dan juara kedua SMAN 10 Semarang. Sedangkan untuk jura MLBB(Mobil Legend) tampil sebagai juara pertama ; Tim ayam, Kedua Tim Gedang Godok dan Ketiga Tim SD Gerbangsari 01.
Untuk Lomba Dance Solo, juara pertama disabet, Davin Hank, juara kedua Ira dan juara ketiga diraih Alicia. Sedangkan untuk juara Dance Group, juara pertama diraih Dancing Girls, kedua Pinethic dan juara ketiga disabet Poseidon.
Sebelumnya UNKARTUR pada Kamis 19 Mei 2024 menggelar acara syukuran Dies Natalis UNKARTUR Ke -7. Pada kesempatan itu juga digelar acara orasi ilmiah tentang “Sugar Tax” yang menghadirkan pembicara Stefani, S.TP, MM dari PT Indesso Niagatama Jakarta. Acara syukuran ini dihadiri Kabag Umum LLDIKTI Wilayah 6 Adrial Refuddin, SIP, MPP, Ketua YPNK Harjanto Halim dan Pembina YPNK Prof. Harijanto dan Dewan Penyantun YPNK Budi Darmawan, Civitas Academy dan tamu undangan
