The opening of Club Imaji"s "Forever Young" painting exhibition was lively and went lively

The Club Imaji painting exhibition entitled "Forever Young" was officially opened. The exhibition with the theme "Forever Young" was sponsored at Tan Artsapce, Jalan Papandayan 11 Semarang. The exhibition was opened marked by the signing of the exhibition inscription by painter Atie Krisna Sarutomo, Sunday (27/10/2024. Meanwhile, the exhibition will run until 08 November 2024.
The exhibition was achieved with a collaborative performance by RUPAMU (Fine Arts, Poetry and Music) by painter Giovani, Yoyok Barokalloh and poet Christian Heru Cahyo Saputro. With the energetic accompaniment of the song Forever Young, the three of them responded with theatrical movements that depict an art ecosystem full of hope and passion.
In her speech before opening the Forever Young exhibition, this senior Semarang female painter really appreciated the organizers for giving young people space to display their paintings which are the result of expressing their imagination in an exhibition. “A step worthy of appreciation in the interests of building a sustainable fine arts ecosystem. "Because in the future it will be young people who will become painters and appreciators," said Atie.On that occasion, Atie also advised the exhibitors to remain consistent in pursuing their chosen passion. "If you want to exist and want to become a professional painter, you have to be consistent, persistent and exhibit often," said Atie.
Exhibition Chief Executive Giovanni said that the Forever Young exhibition was the first event of the Imaji Club which was formed in June 2024. The first step as the cornerstone of the Imaji Club was holding a joint painting exhibition,
The hope is that Club Imaji will continue to grow sustainably and be able to maintain the fire of enthusiasm to continue creating and exhibiting.
"Through Club Imaji, we want to grow together, be able to connect with each other, connect with plans and ultimately connect with work, then help build an arts ecosystem, by discussing, exchanging ideas, collaborating and networking," said Giovanni.Imaji Club advisor Yoyok Barokalloh said he was happy to meet young people who had a talent for painting. This reminds Yoyok"s experience when he first studied painting at KSSS (Semarang Art Studio Family) around 1987. Yoyok hopes that they can be consistent and grow at Club Imaji.
"Hopefully, according to the theme of the Forever Young exhibition in the future, they will be more enthusiastic about creating and learning to present creative and original paintings. "Because the artist is the one who sees his work," reminded Yoyok.
Meanwhile, fine arts observer Christian Saputro, in his introduction to the exhibition, hopes that the Forever Young exhibition will be a milestone to continue to ignite and grow the creative enthusiasm of Club Imaji members.
