"I see that Kamapala Semarang is very active in holding activities to introduce Lampung culture in Semarang City. Therefore, students there (Semarang) must be supported by student dormitories so they can focus more on carrying out their academic responsibilities and not think too much about where they live," he said when received an audience with the management of Kamapala Semarang.
So far, the Lampung Provincial government itself has provided relief assistance by renting out temporary accommodation (dormitories). However, this is very limited and results in the management having to move rental locations every few years. Moreover, several other regional organizations on the island of Java already have permanent dormitories facilitated by the Lampung provincial government.Furthermore, the woman who is familiarly called Mbak Maulidah is committed to encouraging the establishment of permanent dormitories for students from Lampung province in Semarang City.
"We as members of the Lampung Province DPRD can only absorb the aspirations that our Kamapala friends have expressed. I will try to convey it to the Governor-elect to consider providing a Lampung Student Dormitory in Semarang City," he continued.

We hope that a review will soon be held regarding the procurement of Lampung Student Dormitory in Semarang City," he said.Rendi added that the geographical distance between campuses and the unavailability of places to unite solidarity between members can affect the sense of togetherness and kinship. This also influences Kamapala Semarang"s activities as ambassadors for Lampung province and overseas countries.
"From end to end of the campus in Semarang City by motorbike it takes 1 hour to travel, and the current facilities are not sufficient for large-scale member meetings. Moreover, for activities such as practicing dance and discussing the development of Lampung culture in Semarang City," he concluded.

This organization was founded out of a sense of responsibility for fellow overseas children and a deep sense of love for the province of Lampung.
