Minister of Culture Fadli Zon Visits Sobokartti and the Ranggawarsita Museum

Minister of Culture Fadli Zon made a working visit to Jepara, Demak and Semarang from Wednesday (14/11) – Saturday (16/11) 2024. During his visit, the Minister of Culture visited, among other things, the Kartini Museum (Jepara), the Great Mosque of Demak (Demak), Volks Kunstvereeneging Sobokartti and the Ranggawarsita Central Java Museum (Semarang).
Fadli Zon"s arrival in Sobokartti was accompanied by the Head of the Semarang City Culture and Tourism Service, Wing Wiyarso Poespojoedho and his staff. He was warmly welcomed by the Sobokartti management, including; Djamil Soetrisno (Chairman) and Darmadi (Dance Coordinator)
On that occasion, while enjoying the Minister of Culture, Fadli Zon, he was treated to the Gambyong Pareanom Dance, the Bambangan Cakil Dance and the Semarang Rumah Kita Dance Flashmob.
The Minister of Culture was very impressed with the Sobokartti Arts Building which is part of the cultural heritage and remains consistent in preserving and developing Javanese arts and culture in Semarang. "Every day there is creative and classical Javanese dance training, karawitan, puppetry for both children and adults," wrote Fadli Zon on his IG account page.From Sobokartti before returning to Jakarta, the Minister of Culture continued his visit to the Ranggawarsita Central Java Museum. The Minister of Culture said that the Ranggawarsita Museum is a public museum that collects various artifacts, most of which were found in Central Java. These artifacts come from prehistory to the present, some of the artifacts are superior collections.
