Management of DKL for the 2024-2028 Service Period Confirmed

Head of the Lampung Province Education and Culture Service, Dr. Drs. Sulpakar, M.M representing the Acting Governor of Lampung Dr. Drs. Samsudin, S.H., M.H., M.Pd. confirmed the Management of the Lampung Arts Council (DKL) for the 2024 - 2028 Bhakti Period.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the Lampung Arts Council Performance Building, PKOR Way Halim, Bandar Lampung, Saturday (23/11/2024).
The inauguration of the Management of the Lampung Arts Council for the 2024-2028 period is based on the Decree of the Governor of Lampung Number: G/702/V.01/HK/2024. The administrators appointed include; Chairman Prof. Dr. Satria Bangsawan, S.E, M.Si, Deputy Chairman I Nurhikmah Imani, S.H, and Deputy Chairman II: Head of the Culture Division of the Education and Culture Office of Lampung Province. Secretary Bagus S. Pribadi, Deputy Secretary I Riski Febriansyah, S.Sn and Deputy Secretary II Dr.Riyan Hidayatullah, M.Pd. Treasurer Dian Evylia Christanti S and Deputy Treasurer Wika Triwidiyanti Pertiwi S.P. This management is equipped with committees, namely; Literature, Music, Dance, Theatre, Tradition, Film and Fine Arts, each committee is equipped with a Chairman, Secretary and Members.The Acting Governor of Lampung, in his speech read by the Head of the Education and Culture Office, explained that based on Article 17 paragraph (1) of the Lampung Arts Center Articles of Association, the management of the Lampung Arts Council is selected by the Lampung Academy and confirmed by a Decree of the Governor of Lampung.
In this link, on October 29 2024, Lampung Governor"s Decree Number: G/702/V.01/HK/2024 concerning Inauguration was issued. Management of the Lampung Arts Council for the 2024-2028 period. Furthermore, today, Saturday, November 23 2024, I represent Acting. The Governor of Lampung confirmed the management of the Lampung Arts Council.
"To the management of the Lampung Arts Council, in accordance with their duties as a catalyst for all the artistic potential that exists in the Lampung Province region, I wish them good luck in working to advance the arts in Lampung Province," he said.
With the formation of an independent Ministry of Culture, it is hoped that the attention of the Government and all elements of society will increase towards the advancement of culture. It is hoped that the Lampung Arts Council can contribute to the advancement of culture."If at the National Government level, he continued, the Red and White Cabinet has formed the Ministry of Culture, then at the Regional Government level, both the Lampung Provincial Government and district/city governments throughout Lampung Province can form an independent Culture Service," he continued.
Therefore, he continued, the inauguration ceremony for the Lampung Arts Council Management for the 2024-2028 period was combined with the activity of giving the Lampung Academy Arts Award and Cultural Speech.
“On this occasion I would also like to congratulate the outstanding artists who received the Art Award. "Likewise, we hope that the audience can listen to the contents of the Cultural Speech ," he concluded.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Lampung Academy (AL) Ir. Anshori Djausal said that the management of the Lampung Arts Council had been selected and appointed by the Lampung Academy. After the inauguration event there was a series of activities in the form of the Art Award for outstanding artists. Apart from that, there will also be a cultural speech which will be delivered by the Lecturer at the FKIP Music Study Program, Lampung University, Dr. Ryan Hidayatullah, M.Pd, delivered his oration entitled: Young People, Intellectuality and the Future of Lampung Culture,
"The 2024 Lampung Academy of Arts Award to a number of outstanding artists aims to encourage the birth of cultural interaction in Lampung Province. "Meanwhile, the cultural speech is a form of contribution from the Lampung Academy related to ideas and concepts in developing Lampung culture," stressed Anshori.
