Marimas made another surprise after giving a prize of IDR 30 million to Ahmad Khoiri, the inventor of the Marimas 1995 T-shirt. Owner of PT Marimas Putra Kencana, Harjanto Halim again gave a prize worth IDR 30 million.
This time the prize as an appreciation for his painting skills was given to Muhammad Julian Hawel (17), a grade 11 student of SMA Negeri 3 Kota Bengkulu, who has a passion and achievement in painting.
Julian was invited directly by the CEO of Marimas Harjanto who was brought directly from Bengkulu to Semarang. Julian's presence at the Marimas office was accompanied by Herlian (Father), Yeni Handayani (Vice Principal for Achievement and HR of SMAN 3 Bengkulu) and Rio Corat Coret (Coach from Sanggar Kertas Bengkulu).
Harjanto Halim asked Julian to paint a mural on one of the walls of the Marifood Hall in the Candi Industrial Area, Semarang. On a 6 X 6 meter wall under the supervision of artist Arief Hadinata from HOKG Studio, Semarang painted a mural with the theme: "Marimah Fruit Party is More Steady 30 Years". Julian collaborated with Rio Corat Coret, Unkartur Students, and the Semarang Kinasih Community which contained pictures of Harjanto Halim, CHO Marimas Willie Salim, and Julian's own face. In a press conference, Marimas CEO Harjanto explained that this invitation was a form of appreciation for Julian's achievements who has a talent for painting and coloring. Harjanto admitted that he was interested in Julian's painting style. Then invited Julian to paint a mural at the Marimas office which has a tradition of painting murals on birthdays. "Julian recently had a disaster during the Willie Salim event in Bengkulu. Because Willie is the CHO of Marimas, so of course it has something to do with us. As an appreciation for his hard work, we gave him IDR 30 million which was handed over by Cici Marimas," said Harjanto at his office, Saturday (04/19/2025).
Julian, who is known to the public through his paintings of Wilie Salim and Vilmei, admitted that he was happy to receive appreciation from Marimas. Julian said that he was invited by the owner of a beverage company, Harjanto Halim. The CEO of Marimas asked Julian to go to Semarang and paint the walls of the company's office with a number of other painters. Julian, who aspires to become a doctor, admitted that he was happy to be contacted by the head of PT Marimas, Harjanto Halim.
"Mr. Harjanto contacted me at 23.41 WIB when I was finishing painting Willlie Salim's face," he said when contacted via video call.
