"Indonesia Jaya Merdeka" Performance and Fireworks Festival Will Be the Finale of SIPA 2023

Surakarta - Solo International Performing Arts (SIPA) 2023 was closed by 9 performers from within the country and abroad. The lineup for the third day includes Central Kalimantan, Surakarta, East Nusa Tenggara, Kutai Kartanegara, Singapore, Lithuania and Taiwan.
The appearance of Adicipta Paundrakarna Production entitled Indonesia Jaya Merdeka was followed by a magnificent fireworks display in the sky of Vastenburg Fort Solo, which also marked the end of the entire SIPA 2023 series of events.
The third day of SIPA 2023 opened with a performance from the Segah Batuah Tewah Arts and Culture Studio. Through their performance entitled Manugal, implicitly they are trying to show harmony and mutual cooperation in the agrarian life that exists in their birthplace, Central Kalimantan.
No less interesting, the next performer was the Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre, which presented a synopsis entitled In motion. A performance that presents flexibility of movement and is accompanied by immersive music dressed in white and blue attributes.
R. Danang Cahyo Wijayanto, also kicked off the SIPA 2023 stage through the Mata Perfect presentation. This work seeks to find the true meaning of perfection and celebrates differences in all beauty. Followed by the Singapore Chinese Dance Theater which returned with a different performance, namely Phases within our Control.
This one work tells the story of the relationship between the senses and the mind that gives every human being full freedom of movement. In a tit for tat, East Nusa Tenggara took part in the SIPA 2023 performance with the appearance of Izhu Nisnoni. This time, Izhu Nisnoni collaborated with a Sasando group called Nusa Tuak, presenting a work entitled "Magical Sound of Sasando". Through this performance, Izhu Nisnoni tries to show the charm and beauty as well as the magic of the unique musical instrument of Rote Island, East Nusa Tenggara, namely Sasando.
After performing on the second day, the Chinese Youth Goodwill Association is back with a work entitled De-framing the Tradition with Top and Cube Dances. The design breakthrough in this show is a form of challenge and innovative spirit towards existing extreme spatial art. First, works are grouped with certain rhythms, skills and movements with various popular Chinese art styles that are relevant among the younger generation of Taiwan.
In addition, performing the spinning of the big steel cube and lively choreography will motivate the audience to be able to give a higher appreciation. The Arts Sports Terminal from Kutai Kartanegara presents two works at once, namely Tingkilan Traditional Music and Jepen Kutai Menyapa. These two works are an embodiment of the artistic spirit and preservation of local culture from the Kutai Kartanegara area.
The third night of SIPA 2023 was attended by 6,946 visitors from various regions. Also present was the Chairman of the DPR RI, Dr. (H.C.) Puan Maharani Nakshatra Kusyala Devi, S.Sos., closed the last day of SIPA 2023. Puan expressed her gratitude to all parties involved in the successful implementation of SIPA 2023. "Thank you for showing such beautiful dedication to art and culture which touch all of us. We continue to support SIPA from year to year for the City of Solo and Indonesia," said Puan.
The ceremonial beating of the kenong as a symbol of closing the event was represented by R. Ay. Irawati Kusumorasri, M.Sn., Wirastuti Susilaningtyas, and Puan Maharani.
