Holding "Over_O EXPO 2024" and Exciting "Rendezvous" Painting Exhibition

The opening of the Rendezvous painting exhibition was opened together with "Over_O EXPO 2024". The "Over_O EXPO 2024" event was attended by MSME participants from Ungaran and surrounding areas. Meanwhile, the painting exhibition was attended by five painters from Semarang City and Semarang Regency.
The "Over_O EXPO 2024" activity which was held at Over_O Bar And Kitchen, Jalan Diponegoro 290, Ungaran, Semarang, Central Java opened March 1 for 3 days. Meanwhile, the Rendezvous painting exhibition will run until March 10, 2024.
The opening which was attended by Forkompimda Semarang Regency, namely; Kadiskumperindag Drs Heru Subroto, MM, Semarang Police Narcotics Head Iptu Hery Akhmadi, Representative from the Semarang Regency Tourism Office Nuryanto, Kodim and other invited guests.
Kadiskumperindag Drs Heru Subroto, MM in his speech said that he really appreciated the management of Over_O for holding expo activities which provided space for MSME entrepreneurs in Semarang district to promote their products at this expo event.
"The growth and progress of MSME entrepreneurs is not only the responsibility of the government, but is the responsibility of all of us. "This is a positive step that can be imitated by other entrepreneurs," said Heru.
Rendezvous Painting Exhibition
Meanwhile, Christian Heru Cahyo Saputro, representing the artist, said that the painting exhibition activity initiated at Over_O Bar And Kitchen featured 10 paintings with various styles of work from five painters, namely; Heriwanto (Barong and the Journey of Customs), Mona Palma (New Bloom Within, My Little Paradise, Ratna Sawitri (The Conquered an Kala Hening), Yoyok Barokalloh (Gereja Blenduk and Lawang Sewu)( and Giovanni Susanto (House of Trees and Dream On) .
"The aim of this exhibition is to increase the appreciation of the people of Semarang district for the art of painting. Apart from introducing his works, of course it is also to bring the artists closer together. If you don"t know, you don"t love it," said the journalist who intensely observes the development of this fine art.
"In this context, Rendezvous also carries the meaning of a meeting between artists (painters), works, aesthetics, appreciation, or anyone who is present to meet and have a dialogue about the paintings in this exhibition,"
Christian, furthermore, explained that the word rendezvous was interpreted with a deeper meaning. Rendezvous served as a control. So the title of Rendezvous in this exhibition is to control unexpected encounters because art enthusiasts and lovers are not limited to anyone.
"Painters with different backgrounds were brought together in the "Rendezvous" exhibition.
This meeting was important for the painters, making this meeting a space for aesthetic dialogue. "This meeting, apart from being a social event, is also a place for mutual learning and absorption to enrich the visual language," said Christian Saputro in closing his remarks.
Separately, Muhammad Ghozali Siregar, representing the management of Over_O Bar And Kitchen, said that his party was working together with artists to hold this exhibition with the aim of appreciating, educating, bringing painters and their paintings closer to wider appreciation, this time bar and restaurant visitors as well as people who enjoy painting art.
