In Indonesia, the celebration of the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad is carried out in various ways. Maulid Nabi is usually held by reading the Manakib of the Prophet Muhammad in the Book of Maulid Barzanji, Maulid Simtud Dhurar, Diba ', Saroful Anam, Burdah, and others.
The celebration above, of course, also exists in our place, Dusun Karang Majelo, Pendem Village, Janapria District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province where we live somewhat differently from other areas, the difference is that in the month of Rabi'ul early (in Islamic Kender) we have one group / The team consisting of 4 (four) core members specifically to read Al-Barzanji where our tradition has been running for hundreds of years and Inen Pezikir (Chairman who reads Al-Barzanji) is the 3rd generation passed down from the previous generation.
