This T-shirt dance competition in the last two months has gone viral in cyberspace. This shirt in 1995 when Marimas powdered drink was first established was intended as a promotional tool distributed to customers and pedicab drivers. "At first I doubted whether the prize was really IDR 30 million. Then the shirt looked like that, it was uncomfortable, it just didn"t seem right," said the man who works as a cooperative employee in Pekalongan.
The day before Eid, Harjanto Halim contacted Khoiri because the competition deadline had arrived. Khoiri then took a photo of the shirt and it turned out that Harjanto welcomed it. "Mr. Harjanto contacted him the day before Eid. Well, we were happy," he said.
Damiri (70), Khoiri"s father, added that he got the shirt in 1995. At that time, he was given it by someone who was traveling around using the Marimas shirt car.
"While hanging out on Jalan Thamrin, there were people in a car giving out T-shirts. I took one home to Pekalongan, six months later I gave it to my child," said Damiri.Harjanto Halim admitted that he was happy that the first Marimas T-shirt could finally be found and became a witness to the survival of Marimas for 30 years.
