Re-imagined, Repertoire, Past and Beyond, 32 Years of Resistance.

Semarang – Radical Corps Band -- thirty-two years of voicing the glare and disgrace of social conditions loudly. This cultural event should be celebrated with the birth of works recorded live audio and visual. The thrash metal band from Semarang, Radical Corps, has just celebrated its 32nd birthday and celebrated it by re-recording 12 songs from 3 previous albums plus an unreleased demo.
The album with this live session version is entitled: RADICAL CORPS // METATRAX 2024: Re-imagined, Repertoire, Past and Beyond. 32 Years of Resistance, which re-recorded new versions of 12 songs, has been released in audio-visual form and can immediately be enjoyed via all online music platforms.
The band fronted by Rudy Murdock (Guitar & Vocals), Nopi (Guitar), Novelino Adam (Bass Guitar) and Yustinus (Drums) immediately released the single which was chosen as the "first single", namely "Rage Against The System", taken from the album to -3 them, "State of Emergency". This single was chosen as the first release for quite simple and fitting reasons, in accordance with the current socio-political conditions in Indonesia.
"The system and laws controlled by its rulers have resulted in fundamental failures in the state, flawed democracy, trapped in injustice and unequal law enforcement," said Rudy Murdock in a release.
Then what about the other singles? Of course it will be released in stages. One of the fresh breaths on the mini album that will be released, the band, which was born on May 20 1992, collaborated with a female soloist from Semarang, Rahmanika, for the single "Displace Person".
With 32 years of existence calling out bitter social conditions through music, Radical Corps has summarized it in several albums and compilations, namely UNSOLVED OF EUPHONY DESTRUCTION (1998), BORN IN THE LAND OF HATE (2003), STATE OF EMERGENCY ( ), Call of Puaka Island (1998, psychic scream record Malaysia), Metalik Klinik 3 (2000, Rotocorp/ Musica), and Sepultribe (2003). During these 3 decades, their songs can still describe the conditions that occur today, in 2024. For example, "School for a Fool", "State of Emergency", "Murder Age" or "The World We Created"."This proves that there has been no significant change in our social, political and environmental conditions," said Rudy.
The recording process, which began in April 2024, resulted in new versions of old songs, which of course have a fresher, fiercer and more fiery breath. "Let"s wait with great fanfare," said Rudy Murdock optimistically.
